Description

The Yamaha MG10XU is a compact 10-channel analog mixer with a built-in USB audio interface. With four mic inputs, onboard SPX effects and a 2.1 kg metal chassis, it is made for small gigs, speeches, rehearsals and home recording, where one desk has to feed the speakers and the computer at the same time.

In your setup

Microphones go into the four combo inputs, while a DJ controller, keyboard or media player uses the stereo line channels. The XLR stereo outputs feed powered speakers, and the monitor output can drive a booth or stage monitor. Over USB you can record into Cubase AI or another DAW, and playback from the computer can be assigned to one of the stereo channels, so background music or a backing track runs through the same desk. The mixer is powered by its external adaptor.
