Level 3 · after Intermediate
Advanced DJ course (Level 3)
The last of the three levels, on turntables and CDJs: scratching (baby, drops, chirps, stab, transformer), beat juggling and mixing on vinyl, then switching DJs, reading the crowd, performance skills, self-promotion and your career. About 4 weeks — 12 lessons of 60 minutes with a teacher, a contest after each of the two stages, and 12 practice sessions with a teaching assistant.

DJ vs producer: the difference and which to learn first
A DJ selects and blends existing music to keep a crowd moving; a producer creates the music itself in the studio. Skills, gear and learning time side by side, how to choose what to learn first, and a route to learn both at Muse Inc.

Mixing vs mastering: what they are and how they differ
Mixing balances and shapes every track of a song into one stereo file; mastering finishes that file for release. A side-by-side comparison, the main tools, a step-by-step workflow and how to start learning.
