Description
The Yamaha HS8 is the largest full-range monitor in Yamaha's HS series of nearfield studio speakers. Its 8″ woofer reaches down to 38 Hz, lower than the 5″ HS5 and the 6.5″ HS7, which makes it a choice for producers and mixing engineers who want more low-frequency detail from a two-way monitor. Yamaha makes the HS8 in black and in white with the same specifications.

In your setup
A pair of HS8 connects to the balanced outputs of an audio interface or a mixer with XLR or TRS cables, and the centre click on each LEVEL knob helps you match both speakers. At 250 × 390 × 334 mm and 10.2 kg per speaker, plan room for them on stands or a solid desk. If you later want even deeper bass, the HS8S subwoofer belongs to the same series.
