Description
The PreSonus R80 V2 is an active two-way studio monitor that pairs an 8″ woven composite woofer with an Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter. It is meant for producers and DJs who mix in a home or project studio and want more low end than the smaller R65 V2 gives: the R80 V2 reaches 40 Hz, against 45 Hz for its 6.5″ sibling.

In your setup
Run XLR or TRS cables from the balanced outputs of your audio interface or mixer; the RCA input takes consumer sources such as a media player or TV. The low-cut and Acoustic Space settings compensate for the room and for placement close to a wall. Each cabinet measures 241 × 379 × 309 mm and weighs 9 kg, so plan for solid stands or a sturdy desk. PreSonus sets every unit at the factory for either 100–120 V or 220–240 V mains; Vietnam uses 220 V, so check the rating on the rear panel before plugging in.
