Description

The Studiomaster CORE151 is the larger of the two CORE column systems: a curved array of three 8″ neodymium drivers and twelve 1″ dome tweeters rides on an air-cushioned pole above a 15″ bass-reflex subwoofer. The subwoofer holds the amplifiers, a four-channel mixer and the DSP, so a band, DJ or presenter needs only mains power to start. Studiomaster lists salons, bars, small and medium concerts, conferences and lectures as its typical work.

In your setup

In a DJ booth, connect the mixer's RCA outputs to the stereo input, add a vocal microphone on a combo input and set the subwoofer level separately from the array. The XLR link outputs pass the microphone channels on, and the mix output sends the full mix to another active speaker or desk; in a long hall, the delay keeps two systems in time. The system runs on 220–240 V mains.
