Description
The Precision Drive SC1503 is an active column-array system: a 15-inch subwoofer, a line-source column and an aluminium pole — the SC1203's big brother with the same amplifier and DSP, for stage performances and event rental. It comes apart in three pieces and stands 2.120 mm tall.
The column holds eight 3.5-inch neodymium full-range drivers with phase plugs and covers 140° horizontally by 40° vertically: wide across the room, little sound thrown at the ceiling. The 15-inch long-excursion woofer and the 600 W + 600 W RMS amplifier reach down to 38 Hz (-3 dB), with a maximum SPL of 130 dB.
Inputs: two XLR / TRS combo sockets for microphones or instruments, a stereo RCA pair and Bluetooth 5.0 with TWS to pair two systems in stereo; an XLR THRU output links more speakers. The DSP adds a noise gate and bass boost. For a DJ: the DJ mixer's master output goes into the RCA or combo input, the MC's microphone into the other channel. Total weight 22.5 kg (sub 17 kg, column 4.6 kg, pole 0.9 kg).
