Description
The Precision Drive SC1003 is an active column-array system: a 10-inch subwoofer, a line-source column and an aluminium pole. It comes apart in three pieces and stands 2.000 mm tall.
The column holds eight 3.5-inch neodymium full-range drivers with phase plugs and covers 140° horizontally by 40° vertically: wide across the room, little sound thrown at the ceiling. The 10-inch long-excursion woofer and the 400 W + 400 W RMS amplifier reach down to 42 Hz (-3 dB), with a maximum SPL of 124 dB.
Inputs: two XLR / TRS combo sockets for microphones or instruments, a stereo RCA pair and Bluetooth. The DSP adds a noise gate and bass boost. For a DJ: the DJ mixer's master output goes into the RCA or combo input, the MC's microphone into the other channel. Total weight 18.5 kg (sub 13 kg, column 4.6 kg, pole 0.9 kg).
