Description

The Studiomaster DIRECT 101MX is a compact column PA in two pieces: a slim array with six 3″ mid-range drivers and a 1″ compression driver stands on a 10″ subwoofer in a wooden cabinet, and that subwoofer carries the amplifier, a four-channel mixer and the DSP. Studiomaster aims it at receptions, salons, conferences, speeches and small band gigs.

In your setup

A DJ controller or mixer with RCA outputs plugs straight into the stereo input, and a microphone on channel 1 or 2 covers announcements and toasts; the separate sub level knob sets the bass against the column. For a longer room, the XLR mix output sends the programme to another DIRECT MX system, and the delay setting lines its sound up with the first one. The subwoofer cabinet is birch plywood with a folded reflex port.
