Description

The Studiomaster DIRECT101 is a self-powered column PA system: a slim array with six 3-inch mids and a 1-inch compression driver plugs into a 10-inch subwoofer that houses the amplifier, a 4-channel mixer and DSP. The sections connect without speaker cables, so setup is quick for DJs, solo artists, presentations and small events.

In your setup

For a standing audience, fit the height-adjusting extension between the sub and the column; for a seated audience, the column can go straight onto the sub. A DJ controller connects to the RCA input or to the two combo inputs, and the DSP has a DJ preset alongside music and speech modes. The XLR link outputs pass channels 1 and 2 on to a second system, and the mix output can feed another powered speaker. Low cut is selectable at 80, 100, 120 or 150 Hz, and the delay helps when the system stands far from the stage.
