Description

Studiomaster's CORE121 is a two-piece column PA system. A curved array with three 5-inch neodymium full-range drivers and nine 1-inch dome tweeters rides on a height-adjustable pole above a 12-inch bass reflex subwoofer, which also holds the amplifier, a 4-channel mixer and the DSP. It suits bands, DJs, presenters and small venues that want a complete system in two pieces.

For a DJ set, the controller feeds the RCA input or the line side of a combo jack, and the host's microphone takes the other combo channel. The DJ preset and the independent sub level let you set the low end for the room, and the XLR link outputs pass the signal on to a second system or other powered speakers. With TWS Bluetooth, two CORE systems can play music from a phone as a stereo pair.

Setup is simple: stand the sub, fit the pole, lift the 8 kg array on top and connect the mains, as the pole carries the wiring between array and sub. The wide horizontal pattern covers a café, a bar, a function room or a small stage from one position, and the system reloads its previous settings when switched on. The sub weighs 27 kg.
