Description
The JBL RMA 220A is an integrated karaoke amplifier: a stereo power amplifier, a microphone mixer and a digital effects processor in one 420 mm wide box. It is rated at 200 W + 200 W maximum output and is meant for home karaoke rooms, family entertainment rooms and small karaoke venues with a pair of passive speakers.
Three microphone inputs share a 3-band EQ and four digital effects (reverb, echo, repeat and delay), while the music side has its own 2-band EQ and a key control of 11 steps (+/-5 tones) to move a song into the singer's range. Microphone and music volumes are set separately.
Sources connect through four audio inputs with matching video inputs (DVD, tape, AUX and a BGM input for background music). Pre-out, sub-out, music-out and record outputs make it easy to add a powered subwoofer, a second amplifier or a recorder.
