Yamaha DBR15

The DBR15 is the largest model in Yamaha's DBR series and the one with the deepest bass: its 15-inch woofer reaches down to 50 Hz, with a 1.4-inch diaphragm compression driver on a 90 x 60 degree horn above it. A bi-amped amplifier gives 1000 W dynamic (465 W continuous), and the speaker produces up to 132 dB SPL at 1 m.

It is built as a main front-of-house speaker for live bands, DJ events and parties where you want a solid low end without bringing a subwoofer to every job. The rear 2-channel mixer takes microphones or line sources on two combo inputs, plus an RCA pair on channel 2 for a laptop, phone or DJ controller. The XLR output sends either channel 1 or the mix of both channels to the next speaker, so a pair is easy to link.

D-CONTOUR has FOH/MAIN and MONITOR modes, and FIR-X tuning (a linear-phase crossover at 2.1 kHz) keeps vocals clear. At 19.3 kg with two side handles, a 35 mm pole socket and M8 rigging points, it can stand on a pole, sit on a stage or be flown.
