Description

The PreSonus AIR15 is an active two-way PA loudspeaker with a 15-inch woofer and a 1.35-inch compression driver, intended for mobile sound, corporate events, DJ work and floor-monitor duty. PreSonus combines two amplifier types in it: Class D for the woofer and Class AB for the high-frequency driver.

In a DJ booth or at a party, the master output of a mixer goes into one combo input, a phone or laptop can join through the 3.5 mm aux, and all three inputs are summed. The Mix Out sends the same signal on to another AIR-series speaker, so building a pair is simple. DJ is the default preset, while FOH and Speech suit live music and presentations.

The cabinet stands upright on rubber feet as a main speaker or lies on its side as a wedge monitor. On a tripod, the dual-position pole socket can tilt it 7.5° down towards the audience, and the M10 points allow flown installation in a venue. It measures 708 × 430 × 402 mm and weighs 21 kg.
