Description
The PreSonus AIR10 is a standout mid-range PA speaker from the American brand, trusted by many customers. It combines powerful sound, a rugged and portable design, and all the connections you need for performances, whether at a fixed venue or on regular tours.
1. Solid build, flexible portability
The AIR10 has a minimalist, modern design in line with PreSonus's signature style. Every detail, from the grille, LED control display and connectors to the seams, is well finished for a solid feel.
With a classic black finish and a conventional boxy shape, the speaker fits easily into any setting, from indoor spaces to big outdoor stages.
The enclosure is made of purpose-moulded plastic with a powder-coated stainless steel grille, making the whole speaker tough and durable enough to withstand the harshest weather conditions.
The AIR10 is mid-sized for a PA speaker. At 13 kg it is not too hard to move around, while staying stable when playing at high power and volume.
2. Outstanding, powerful sound
Acoustically, the PreSonus AIR10 has two drivers. The 254 mm bass driver delivers deep, powerful and solid low end.
The treble driver reproduces high frequencies clearly. The 25.4 mm cone treble driver sits in a wide-flare horn that spreads the sound over a 90 x 60 degree angle.
The low frequencies are driven by a Class D amplifier with 900 W of power, while the high frequencies use a Class AB amplifier with 300 W. That gives the speaker a total of 1200 W for a big, impressive sound.
3. All the common connections
The AIR10 has several inputs for different sources, including two XLR/TRS combo connectors for microphone or line signals, each with a Class A mic preamp and its own level control.
There is also a 3.5 mm stereo input for everyday audio devices. These signals can be combined with the speaker's built-in mixer, and a balanced XLR output lets you send the signal on to other AIR speakers.
