The XDJ-AZ is an advanced DJ unit from Pioneer DJ that combines cutting-edge technology with a refined design to put a club-standard experience at your fingertips. Developed from the design of flagship products such as the CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9, the XDJ-AZ not only meets but expands a DJ's creativity and control, putting you at the centre of every performance.

Compatible software: the XDJ-AZ works with both rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro at no extra cost. Just plug it into your PC/Mac and launch the app.

Attractive, solid and versatile design: a metal chassis with extra-sturdy, durable handles. The layout has plenty of eye-catching backlighting, so DJs can work comfortably even in low light.

Professional layout: the XDJ-AZ inherits the layout and feel of the high-end CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9, so you spend less time getting used to it and more time focusing on your mix.

Large touch screen: a capacitive touch screen of up to 10.1 inches gives you clear information and makes controlling everything easier, with upgrades such as:

• Displays up to 13 tracks instead of the 8 tracks on the XDJ-XZ
• Playlist Bank lets you pre-select 4 playlists for quick access
• Touch Preview lets you preview tracks in a playlist without loading them.
• Touch Cue lets you preview an upcoming part of the track currently playing on a deck.
• Shows the status of the selected Performance Pad mode and the Beat FX settings at the same time, so DJs instantly see the information they need to perform.

4 channels with 4 independent decks: lets DJs perform freely in many ways — layering extra sounds into the mix, creating live edits, playing alongside another DJ or preparing a track list for a particular moment, and more.

8.1-inch jog wheels with displays: synced with the main screen, they show key track information at a glance and are highly sensitive for instant response when scratching.

Reliable sound: a 3-band Master EQ lets you tailor the sound to the room, and a 32-bit (ESS) D/A converter delivers clearer, livelier sound, ready to fire up large venues and clubs.

Mixer Settings: a dedicated settings button for the mixer section lets DJs quickly check and adjust the mixer's status on the screen.

A wide range of FX: the XDJ-AZ comes with all 14 Beat FX and 6 Sound Color FX, giving DJs full creative freedom for stylish mixes.

16 performance pads: press to instantly trigger Hot Cue, Beat Loop, Slip Loop and Beat Jump, adding extra excitement to your tracks during a performance.

Gate Cue function: useful for pad play and creating unique effects. While you hold a pad, the track plays from the cue point; when you let go, it instantly returns to the original cue point.

The XDJ-AZ supports a wide range of media and devices:

• 3 built-in USB ports (2 Type A + 1 Type C) for playing music from USB drives, a PC/Mac or mobile devices, as well as external devices such as turntables and DJ samplers.
• Wi-Fi connectivity for rekordbox Link Export lets you pull music wirelessly from a PC/Mac or mobile device with ease
• StreamingDirectPlay: the XDJ-AZ supports Beatport Streaming, so you can play tracks straight from the Beatport library, complete with analysis data that makes mixing easier
• CloudDirectPlay: access your cloud-based rekordbox library directly from the XDJ-AZ.
