Description
The Behringer BDJ 1000 is a closed-back, over-ear DJ headphone built for working booths, with large 57 mm dynamic drivers, ear cups that turn for single-ear cueing and a steel-reinforced headband. It suits DJs who want strong isolation and a sturdy pair for regular gigs as well as long practice sessions.
Highlights
- 57 mm dynamic drivers, 20 Hz – 20 kHz
- 64 Ω impedance, 107 dB (±3 dB) sensitivity
- Closed-back circumaural (over-ear) design with strong passive isolation
- Rotatable, reversible and collapsible ear cups for one-ear monitoring
- Steel-reinforced, fully adjustable cushioned headband and soft ear cups
- 4 m coiled cable, 3.5 mm stereo plug and a screw-on gold-plated 6.3 mm adapter
Behind the decks, the closed cups block much of the room noise so the cue channel stays clear next to loud booth monitors, and the swivelling cups let you keep one ear on the headphones and the other on the dance floor. Behringer tunes the BDJ 1000 for a wide range of professional and consumer audio devices, so it works with a controller, a mixer or a laptop.
The long coiled cable gives freedom to move around the booth. The screw-on 6.3 mm adapter stays put in a mixer's full-size headphone socket, while the 3.5 mm plug goes straight into a laptop or phone, and the collapsible cups make the headphones more compact in a gig bag.
