Description
The PreSonus AudioBox GO is a pocket-size USB-C audio interface that records a microphone and an instrument at the same time. It is built for recording at home or on the move with a laptop, tablet or phone, and it takes its power from the device it is plugged into, so there is no adapter to carry.
Highlights
- One XLR/6.35 mm combo input with a PreSonus XMAX-L preamp: 50 dB of gain and switchable 48 V phantom power for condenser mics.
- A separate 6.35 mm TS instrument input for guitar or bass, so two sources can be recorded together.
- 24-bit converters at sample rates up to 96 kHz for recording and playback.
- Two balanced 6.35 mm TRS outputs for studio monitors and a 6.35 mm headphone output.
- A Mix knob that blends the inputs with computer playback for latency-free monitoring.
- Bus-powered over USB-C; 108 × 44 × 84 mm and 0.24 kg.
In your setup
PreSonus lists the AudioBox GO as working with macOS and Windows computers and with Apple and Android mobile devices. Connect powered studio monitors to the two TRS outputs, plug headphones into the headphone jack and record vocals, a guitar or a keyboard line into your DAW. The free Universal Control app handles firmware updates, and PreSonus currently adds a six-month trial of Fender Studio Pro to get you started.
