Description
AKG C636 professional performance microphone
For more than 70 years, AKG has been known as one of the leading brands in studio sound quality. The AKG C636 professional performance microphone is a handheld condenser mic that picks up sound with accuracy, sensitivity and detail, in a durable, sleek, modern design.
The AKG C636 is a handheld condenser microphone reborn from the legendary C535, with a new look to suit today's performance styles and stage conditions.
Studio sound on stage
With its metal housing, you never need to worry about the AKG C636's durability, and a multi-layer noise-suppression system helps prevent problems, so singers can focus on their vocals rather than on the microphone. Add a cardioid pickup pattern that rejects unwanted noise in the room, and the AKG C636 is a condenser mic truly ready for any stage.
Superb sound inherited from a legend
Although the C535 is no longer made, its outstanding features live on in the new AKG C636. With a 24k gold-plated capsule for clear, crisp sound, the C636 keeps the best of the C535 while meeting the essential needs of today's top singers
A rugged body with impressive noise suppression
The AKG C636 meets most users' needs: a zinc-alloy housing with a steel mesh grille on top, combined with an internal double shock-mount system, reduces handling noise. Triple pop protection, made up of the outer steel mesh grille, an inner foam layer and finally a magnetic mesh mounted on top of the capsule, provides three layers of protection against pops and excessive sound levels that could damage the microphone.
