Compact design, intuitive interface

At 793 x 324 x 564 mm, the Yamaha DM7 saves space and is easy to move. It is built on a solid metal-alloy frame for durability and robustness in everyday use.

The mixer's controls are arranged neatly and conveniently, giving it a professional, refined feel. The screen angle, the height of the buttons and faders and the position of the light strips have all been carefully designed to keep it easy to operate and to read the displays in a compact frame. The light strips on the fader surface help in dimly lit venues. Thanks to its intuitive design, operation and adjustment are quick and easy.

Outstanding sound quality

To achieve "truth in sound", the Yamaha DM7 had to meet strict audio standards. Yamaha designed and built the input section and I/O ports with meticulous care. The Yamaha DM7 supports sample rates up to 96 kHz for exceptional, high-resolution sound.

Packed with advanced features

The channel strip of the Yamaha DM7 is designed with many advanced functions for intuitive, convenient sound shaping. The channel EQ is inspired by the RIVAGE PM, with an added FET Limiter and Diode Bridge Compressor that extend your control over dynamics.

The "History" function, combined with the existing gates and compressors, makes adjusting dynamics easier and more precise than ever, alongside the unique "Mix Balance" control. You can also set the order of EQ and Dynamics 2 as you wish, opening up more creative ways to shape the sound.

Dan Dugan automixer

The DM7 includes the Dan Dugan automixer for up to 64 channels, now built into the channel strip as standard. You can use the automixer directly from the channel strip without needing the EQ RACK. The input meters now also have a graph display to help you set signal levels efficiently.

A large plug-in library and new effects

The DM7 comes with a diverse, powerful set of plug-ins for all kinds of applications. They include VCM models of the Portico 5033 equaliser and the Portico 5043 compressor/limiter, both renowned thanks to close collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs. The DM7 also includes plug-ins developed by Yamaha itself, such as the DaNSe noise suppressor and Dynamic EQ, which are highly regarded among sound engineers.

Flexible USB connectivity

The DM7's USB Type-C port provides an 18-in/18-out audio interface for streaming, playback, conferencing systems and many other applications. With built-in MIDI Control and DAW Remote, it opens up even more creative possibilities and simplifies your workflow.
