DJ Jazzy Jeff and Digital DJ Tips today announced an exciting partnership to launch a brand-new online DJ course
DJ Jazzy Jeff's How to DJ Right
The course will cover everything DJs need to know to DJ the way Jeff does, including how to approach DJ equipment, how to find and organise their music, how to mix properly, how to perform well, how to pull off his most famous signature routines and how to succeed in the music business. Since 1985, DJ Jazzy Jeff has amazed us with his flawless turntable skills, creative production and musical versatility. A DMC champion and one half of the famous DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, Jeff quickly made waves on the music and DJ scene. After multiple Grammy and American Music Award wins and nominations, he went on to build the renowned production company A Touch Of Jazz, cementing his place among the greats.
DJ Jazzy Jeff has performed all over the world, documenting his travels in the web series “Vinyl Destination”. Since the global pandemic, he has quite literally brought the party home, to huge popularity. In the course, Jeff shares everything he knows about how he feels DJing should be done today, including “DJ Jazzy Jeff's 10 Golden Rules”, never shared anywhere before.
Taught through a mix of on-demand video lessons, innovative teaching aids and tutor feedback – including from Jeff himself – the course also gives participants access to a lively online community of fellow students for encouragement and support.

The course has been produced and will be released later this year.

My course aims to help DJs of every level – beginners, established DJs, DJs who are fans of what I do – figure out all the important stuff quickly, without taking months or years to get there – if ever.” “This course is something I've wanted to do for a long time, but I didn't want it to be cheesy, and I wanted it to be genuinely useful for DJs who are serious about learning to DJ the right way. When it comes to DJ training, Digital DJ Tips know what they're doing. They have a track record of DJ training that really works, so I knew I'd found the right partner.” We're proud to be offering this training with one of the very best, showing DJs how to do this right! Jeff wants to help as many DJs as possible do this properly, and his natural teaching ability means this course will be incredibly useful for all kinds of DJs.
