Meaningful Tết Gifts: Have You Got Yours Ready?
Every time Tết (Lunar New Year) comes around, besides cleaning the house and buying new things for yourself, choosing gifts for your loved ones is something that gives a lot of people a headache. With countless Tết gifts on sale, you need a good eye to pick out the best-quality, most meaningful ones. So let Muse Inc suggest a few gifts that make perfect Tết presents for your loved ones!
1. Feng shui items
Feng shui matters a lot to most Vietnamese families, especially business people. Besides bringing luck and peace to the household, these items also make elegant, classic decorations. Because they are feng shui items, though, you need to be careful: don't pick one at random; find out the recipient's age and element first to get the best effect. So if you know someone in business, or you simply want to bring them luck, feng shui items are a great choice.
2. Health gifts
You can't talk about Tết gifts without mentioning health gifts such as bird's nest, lingzhi mushrooms, cordyceps and saffron… These foods are highly nutritious, which makes them perfect for older relatives such as grandparents and parents. They are also quite expensive, and there are plenty of fakes on the market, so when you buy, choose reputable brands to get the best-quality gifts.
3. Tết gift baskets
A Tết gift basket usually holds lots of things, such as cakes, sweets, nuts, candied fruit, soft drinks and tea…, all neatly and elegantly packed. Thanks to their variety and convenience, gift baskets have become the top choice to bring to relatives' homes at Tết in recent years. A Tết gift basket can come at many price levels, depending on what you choose. There are two main kinds: ready-made baskets and pick-your-own baskets. If you're short on time, you can buy a ready-made one. If you like to take more care, you can choose each item to suit the recipient's taste and the shop will pack it for you.
4. Gifts based on their hobbies
A gift that matches someone's hobbies is always a good idea, not just at Tết but on any occasion. It makes the recipient happier, and they can feel how much you care about them. Everyone has different interests, so Muse Inc can't suggest a specific gift for you. But if your loved one enjoys music, you can take a look at the courses at Muse Inc and sign them up for one that suits them, or give them audio equipment such as speakers or headphones… from Muse Inc!
Muse Inc hopes this post has taken the headache out of choosing Tết gifts. Finally, Muse Inc wishes you a joyful Lunar New Year and a happy 2023!
