DJ Tips: How to Balance Two Roles, DJ and Hype MC

Balancing two completely different key roles comes down to one thing: SKILL. While many young DJs focus only on mixing and getting from one track to the next, hyping up the crowd is a harder job than most people think.
So train your MC skills for a few weeks, or even a whole month, to prepare. Being a hype MC isn’t just about firing up the crowd in a really lazy way like this: “Everybody put your (########) hands up, Everybody (######) jump, etc.”, or dancing around too much right in the middle of the drop. That is something you SHOULD NOT do.
So whether you’re a mobile DJ or a wedding DJ, hyping the crowd on the mic while you play is absolutely essential, but how you balance the two roles depends entirely on your skill.
