Spotify Teams Up with Magic Leap to Bring Augmented Reality to Music Listening
Spotify has recently announced that it is working with Magic Leap to bring augmented reality (AR) to its music app.
Users will be able to "pin" playlists, albums and songs to different spots around the home. A live concert in the bathroom, an EDM party in the kitchen… all in a way no music app has managed before, through the Magic Leap One Creator Edition headset.
Talking about the partnership with Spotify, a Magic Leap representative said: "Our collaboration with Spotify is just the beginning of a breakthrough in how you hear, see and experience the work of the artists you love. It will open a new era for music, artists and audiences around the world."
