What Does “Slay” Mean – and Why Muse Inc Named a Markshow After It
If you follow the Muse Inc Facebook page, you've probably noticed that we've been using the word “slay” a lot lately. So what does “slay” mean, and why does Muse Inc use it so much? Today, Muse Inc answers all your questions about “slay” in this post!
1. What “slay” means
The word “slay” describes an outstanding action or achievement – completing a task or reaching a goal in a successful, impressive way. Used as praise, it is a compliment and a word of encouragement that shows admiration and respect.
For example: “She slayed that presentation! It was so well-prepared and delivered with confidence and poise.”
Or: “He slayed that difficult math problem! I’m so impressed with his problem-solving skills.”
“Slay” can also describe a stunning, glamorous outfit, hairstyle or make-up look. For example: “That dress slays!”
In recent years, young people have especially loved using “slay” to praise women's confidence and power as they become the best version of themselves. That is also the message Muse Inc wants to share with everyone – especially women – through Slay Markshow.
2. Slay Markshow – Muse Inc
