Muse Inc x VAS: Kid DJ Workshop at VAS Summer Camp 2024
From 15 to 19 July 2024, Muse Inc had the chance to run the KID DJ WORKSHOP – VAS SUMMER CAMP 2024 at Vietnam Australia International School (VAS). Let's look back at some of the best moments from the event.
1. What is VAS?
Vietnam Australia International School, VAS for short, is the largest Cambridge-standard international school system in Ho Chi Minh City. It is one of the schools whose students have achieved Top in the World and Top in Vietnam results in Cambridge exams, along with countless other scholarships.
Its vision is to be an outstanding school system that gives students a solid academic foundation, combining the Vietnamese National Curriculum with the Cambridge International programme, so they are ready to face life's challenges while preserving the cultural values and traditions of the nation. 2. What the event meant
Over 5 days in a row, Muse Inc ran 15 classes for more than 270 students (children from grade 1 to grade 5) across all 6 VAS campuses. Through these classes, the instructors and the team at Muse Inc gave the children a grounding in what DJing is and the basic skills of a DJ.
As well as learning the theory, the children got hands-on time on the DJ decks to understand DJing more clearly and concretely, and played games to keep them active, which was also a fun way for them to unwind after their lessons.

The event was a great success. In the future, we hope Muse Inc can work not only with VAS but with many more schools on similarly meaningful events, bringing to life Muse Inc's mission of bringing music to everyone.
