DDJ REV5

DDJ REV5 – Professional 2-Channel Scratch DJ Controller

The DDJ REV5 is a new-generation controller compatible with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox. It delivers an authentic scratch feel along with creative features such as large jog wheels, the MAGVEL FADER, dedicated Stems controls, the debut of Auto BPM Transition, and Piano Play mode.

KEY FEATURES OF THE DDJ REV5

Large Jog Wheels and MAGVEL FADER for Expressive Scratching

The large jog wheels of the DDJ REV5 are highly responsive and smooth, recreating the authentic feel of classic CDJs. Each jog wheel has a display showing the playback position so you can keep track easily. You can also adjust Jog Feel to set the “weight” of the jog wheel to your liking. Together with the durable, precise MAGVEL FADER, which picks up even the smallest movements, it lets you scratch perfectly.

Scratch-Style Layout for Open-Format Freedom

The long tempo sliders on the DDJ REV5 sit horizontally above the deck sections, while the Performance Pads and Lever FX are in the mixer section, mirroring the PLX Series turntable + DJM-S Series mixer setup loved by open-format DJs. With the pads, levers and faders close together, you can flexibly combine scratching with pad play and effects.

Dedicated Stems Buttons

Create live mashups and remixes easily with the Stems buttons on the DDJ-REV5. Tracks are split into Stems in the software: vocals, melody, bass and drums in Serato DJ Pro, and vocal, drums and inst (including bass, synths and other instruments) in rekordbox

Stems control functions:

• Stems Mute/Solo: mute or solo Stems to build the mashup you want.
• Stems Separate: send each Stem of a track to a different deck for live remixing.
• Stems Level: adjust the level of each Stem with the EQ knobs.

Combining Stems with Deck Move lets you easily create and control several live mashups or remixes at once.

Auto BPM Transition – Smooth Tempo Changes

With the new Auto BPM Transition feature, mixing between genres with very different tempos is easier than ever. Just choose the number of beats for the transition and press the button: the playing track gradually changes tempo to match the track on the other deck, so you can mix or drop a new track seamlessly. You can also use Stems, Auto Loop and Key Lock throughout the transition.

Piano Play Mode for Intuitive Musical Performance

Like Pitch Play, Piano Play mode lets you use the 16 Performance Pads to trigger cue points at different pitches. Piano Play, however, arranges the pitch changes like a piano keyboard, with “white” keys on the bottom row and “black” keys on the top row. You can choose from 3 different scales, making it easy to play even if you know nothing about music theory or scales.

Versatile Connectivity and 2 USB Type-C Ports for Smooth DJ Changeovers

The DDJ REV5 is the perfect hub for larger DJ setups thanks to its wide range of connections, including an XLR master out that is ideal for professional environments. It also has 2 USB Type-C ports for PC/Mac, making changeovers between DJs easy with a single switch on the controller.

Plug-and-Play with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox

Choose your favourite software and start DJing right away. Just connect the DDJ REV5 to a PC/Mac running the latest version of Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox and use it for free, with no licence key or subscription needed. It also comes with a voucher for the Serato Pitch ‘n Time DJ expansion pack, which adds more advanced features.
