DDJ REV7

DDJ REV7 – professional 2-channel scratch-style DJ controller

The DDJ REV7 is designed to get the most out of Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox, delivering outstanding professional performance. It has an all-new design with large motorised jog wheels and built-in On Jog Displays, creating a real connection between you and the music.

The layout of this 2-channel unit mirrors a professional setup of a DJM-S mixer and PLX turntables, and it comes with special features built for open-format and scratch DJs.

KEY FEATURES OF THE DDJ REV7

Large jog wheels and MAGVEL FADER for lively scratching

The DDJ REV7's large jog wheels are highly sensitive and smooth, recreating the authentic feel of classic CDJs. Each jog wheel has a display showing the playback position so you can follow it easily. You can also adjust the Jog Feel to set the “weight” of the jog wheel to your liking. On top of that, the durable, precise MAGVEL FADER responds to even the smallest movement, so you can scratch flawlessly.

VINYLIZED JOG: tailor the feel to perfection

The top of each jog wheel is made of acrylic with a vinyl-like textured surface for natural grip. You can choose high or low torque and use the two included slip sheets to adjust the friction. It supports 33⅓ or 45rpm rotation speeds, and the Stop Time setting lets you set how quickly the music stops when you press pause.

On Jog Display: visual information at your fingertips

A 3.5-inch LCD screen in the centre of each jog wheel shows key information, so you do not need to keep looking back and forth between the controller and your laptop. Wide viewing angles let you read it from any position, and you can turn off the digital playback marker when needed. Stickers are also included so you can mark the jog wheels if you prefer the traditional way.

Instant Scratch: trigger samples fast with dedicated buttons

The DDJ REV7 comes with 4 built-in original scratch samples that you can trigger instantly with their dedicated hardware buttons. Because these sounds are stored in the unit itself, you can use them even without a laptop connected. To use your own samples, quickly load them from the 4 banks assigned in Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox via the Scratch Bank feature (or Sample Scratch in rekordbox).

Serato Stems: breakthrough creative performance

Control Serato Stems functions directly from the Deck Pads by pressing the Hot Cue and Scratch Bank buttons together on the deck you want to use:

• Stems Mute: mute specific Stems in real time to create instant mashups.
• Stems Separate: move an isolated Stem to another deck to remix it live, add effects or edit it without affecting the other Stems in the track.
• Stems Level: use the EQ knobs to adjust the volume of each Stem individually.

MAGVEL FADER PRO: scratch with confidence and style

The MAGVEL FADER PRO delivers top-level scratch performance with outstanding durability and can be tailored to your style. A wide range of settings makes it easy to find the perfect feel for your performance.

22 built-in Beat FX, including 3 new effects: transform your sound

Add drama to your transitions with 3 new Beat FX: Duck Down, Fill Out and Helix Out. In total you get 22 Beat FX, controlled by dedicated buttons.

Pull the effect lever down to apply a short effect from Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox, or push it up to lock the effect on, freeing your hands for scratching or browsing music.

Sleek, portable design: perform anywhere

The DDJ REV7 is solidly built yet light enough to carry easily by the handles on its chassis. The aluminium casing combines matte and hairline finishes to contrast the deck and mixer areas, recreating the traditional layout of two turntables plus a mixer. The On Jog Displays are designed to look like the label in the centre of a vinyl record, for an authentic feel in use.
